Pat is a keen hill walker.  He has recently completed ( & qualified on) the first ever Connemara based guiding course, and is a member of the newly formed Connemara Walking Guides Association, na Beannna Beola and The Maumturks Walking Groups. He will gladly assist you with suggestions, tips, maps etc and if you would like a guide for your walk he or some of his colleagues can be arranged to guide you.

Experience Connemara  – €200 to €230 pps

Rate includes 3 Nights B&B Accommodation & 2 Packed Lunches ,  a 3 hour Horse Trek from Cleggan Riding Centre to Omey Island and a 3 to 4 Hour Moderate Guided Walk from Ballynahinch to Clifden along the Old Galway- Clifden Railway Line and tax .

3 nights B&B & Omey Trek – €160 to €180 pps

A must for horse and pony lovers! 3 Nights B&B Accommodation in Connemara the home of the Connemara Pony (the only native pony to Ireland). During your stay enjoy the thrilling three hour trek to Omey Island from Cleggan Beach Riding Centre, visit our Connemara Ponies on our land nearby, the Connemara Pony Museum in Clifden, The Connemara Pony Breeders Society Offices and Shop in Clifden. During the Show Season (June to September) each Sunday there is a Connemara Pony Show in the Area.

3 nights B&B & Old Railway Walk – €150 to165 pps

3 nights  B&B accommodation and Pat will guide you on a leisurely walk along the old Galway to Clifden Railway Line. Starting at Ballynahinch he will lead you to Clifden. Along the way you will learn about the building techniques used, farming in the area and experience stunning scenery. This walk is suitable for people of all ages and all walking levels and will take approximately 3/4 hours. Walking boots and waterproofs are required. Light refreshments are provided along the way ! How you spend the rest of your stay is up to you, be it actively or leisurely! We have lots of suggestions and will gladly assist you with your plans.

3 Nights B&B & Mountain Walk – €160  to €180 pps

3 Nights B&B accommodation, experience comfortable homely accommodation, homebaking, gourmet breakfasts, turf fries etc. On the day of your choice Pat will take you into the Twelve Bens mountain range. You will climb three of the Bens reaching a height of 664 metres at the highest point. This walk is suitable for those of a good fitness level and walking boots, waterproof gear is a necessity. A good wholesome packed lunch will be provided and along the way you will experience the sheer beauty of The Twelve Bens and Connemara. On the other day of your stay we have lots of suggestions for things to do and will happily assist you making plans etc.
