Walking into the apartment felt like coming home. Every convenience you could need is provided, home made bread and cake along with supplies in the fridge. Parking was a joy with plenty of space. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Propriétaires très discrets mais au petit soin cake et pain maison avec tout ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner. Literie très confortable et propreté irréprochable

Great location close to Clifton town centre. Well thought out and spaceous accommodation with everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

Top accomodation near town center and pubs and restaurants, have not found anything of this level anywhere in Connemara (after 20+ stays), absolutely the best

Very clean, modern apartment where everything needed was thought of, and more. Very nice contact with the owners. There was bread, fruit loaf, butter, jam, milk, coffe, tea… all there. Apartments are pretty noise free with only a vague tv sound coming through. Ideal for two people. 10 min walk from the centre of Clifden. The driveway up is pretty steep and venturing a left turn onto the main road has to be done with care. I would definitely recommend it to explore the area.

Fantastic location, easy walk to Clifden. Cathriona thought of everything, we couldn’t find fault with anything.

Perfect location. Easy to get to hikes, attractions and in to town. Apartment was lovely and spacious. Had all the essentials one needs.

Appartement spacieux et très bien équipé. Nous avons apprécié les attentions destinées aux hôtes: thé café, brown bread et cake maison, beurre, confiture, lait, jus de fruits… Le centre-ville de Clifden est accessible à pieds. Parking assuré.

We stayed at the buttermilk lodge for 3 nights and found all aspects of our accomodation excellent, and we hope to return again soon.

Ideal location, short walk to town centre. Welcome pack of homemade bread and cake as well as milk and juice in the fridge is a lovely touch. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Highly recommended.

Un logement impeccable et chaleureux. Il y a absolument tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. C'est juste incroyable! En plus un tas de petites attentions: café, thé, céréales, lait, beurre, confiture et même pain et cake maison ! Si nous en avons l'occasion, nous y reviendrons sans hésiter.

Excellent appartment, the owners are really professionnal, the place was just perfectly clean. Most probably one place amongst the best we ever had. The owners are respectfull and don't interfere, And on top of all these good points, some nice refreshments were left available for our welcome. Many thanks, our stay was just memorable.

We had a much too short stay in Cathriona's lovely appartment. Everything we needed and much more was available in good quality. Don't miss her homemade brown bread!

Buttermilk lodge is a lovely property in an ideal location with the Main Street in Clifden a 5 minute walk away. The hosts went over and above to ensure that our trip was comfortable and enjoyable. They had fresh bread and cake for our arrival as well as milk and juice in the fridge.

Great location. Lovely homely feel: the baked bread was such a lovely treat and great to have essentials like milk, tea and coffee. Great power shower and lots of warm fluffy towels. I’ll definitely be back.

My only comment is that the carpet in the little hallway inside Taney does seem to smell a little.
